Here is a winter scene done from on-location stetches and memory to usher in the Holiday Season. Thoughts of a traditional snowy Christmas, complete with elk and deer in the woods, fill the air and begged for painting.

After a long hike on a trail in Santa Barbara, this view was all worth it. This painting, along with 20 others, can be seen at a two-person show at Gallery@Second, Harrisburg PA, September 29- November 12. Opening receptions:  Oct. 2 from 1-4pm and Oct. 21, 6-9pm.
