The "...Indigo Skies" painting was enlarged from a plein air sketch after being on location near Middletown, PA. The Rockville painting was completed just before the rain came. The "mini Lady Liberty" could be seen "holding her own" in the painting.

Although the weather was very hot in June and July, 2012, in Umbria, the humidity was low and the sunshine abundant, making for days of broad, beautiful views of the Italian countryside.
